Recently, the Union Minister of India, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, laid the foundation of highways in India. This time he laid the foundation of 4 national highway projects in Haryana that cost over 3855 crores. The foundation was laid in Haryana's Sonepat, Ambala, and Karnal cities.
Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar, CM of Haryana, and Dushyant Chautala, Deputy CM of Haryana, attended the event. Multiple other important personalities were present at the foundation event, including MPs and MLAs of Haryana.
Regarding the announcement of the foundation program, Nitin Gadkari took to Twitter on 20th June 2023 to announce the construction of new highways in Haryana

The national flyover 44 from Delhi to Sopepat is 24 km long. But the new highway will not only provide better connectivity from Delhi to Sonepat but also give a massive boost to road connectivity from Haryana to Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir.
The major benefit of the new highway will be seen in multiple sectors, including agriculture, tourism, and industrial movement, and it will provide better road facilities to the nearby areas. People from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir will now have ease in traveling with the introduction of this new corridor.
Apart from all these benefits, another significant benefit that the new highways will provide is the ease of relocating from one city to another. The smooth truck movement, the shorter distance that will reduce travel time, and new roads that will prevent accidents and mishappenings will ensure people can relocate safely, comfortably, and on time. It will boast India's packing and moving industry, travel and tourism, industrialism, and agriculture sectors.
