Union minister Nitin Gadkari shared exclusive details on the newly announced 6 lane highway and how it will reduce travel time between Noida and Delhi. The new 6 lane highway is being built at national highway 148 near the KMP expressway (Kundli Manesar Palwal Expressway)
In his recent tweet, Gadkari shared how the 50km long stretch of a 6 Lane highway is being developed from Jaitpur Pushta Road. The highway will connect three prominent locations, i.e., Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, encompassing Noida, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, and Palwal, wrote Gadkari in his recent tweet.
Being an exclusive part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, the project is estimated to cost Rs 2,627 crore. Talking about the impact on the travel time of this highway, Nitin Gadkari wrote that the highway will significantly reduce travel time from Noida and Delhi to the Delhi Mumbai Expressway by 3 to 4 hours.
While sharing the pictures of the highway on his Twitter handle https://x.com/nitin_gadkari, the Union minister also wrote that the highway runs through a green belt parallel to the Agra and Gurgaon canals. He further shared the details of how the highway is being built sustainably by using inert material for embankment construction and building elevated structures on a single pier.
While concluding his tweet regarding the highway construction, Gadkari thanked PM Narender Modi for delivering world-class highway infrastructure to all commuters under his leadership and his dedication to facilitating economic and social development in the region.
Those are some of the main benefits of the highway, as predicted by the experts. Check out https://morth.nic.in/ to get more updates on the ongoing roads and highway projects in PAN India.
