Dear Respected Sir / Ma’am, we had requested for House shifting from Chennai to Bangalore through Packers and moves, we had approached Scorpion Packers and Movers, No.298, Ranganathapuram, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai - 600041, To Mr. Grumurthy 8778390399… We had agreed to transport house belongings to shift on 20th Oct’22 in small vehicle, on 21st Oct’22 the packers delivered all the house items in Big container vehicle and refused to unpack except Washing machine and Fridge stating we will not unpack all the items and demanded 2500 extra apart from the claim value of 17000, We asked the driver why vehicle got changed, but he refused to answer, on 26th Oct’22 we had unpacked the our 55 inch LED TV for installation but got surprised to see 55 inch TV panel was totally damaged (Image enclosed), we reported to the packers Mr. Grumurthy about the damage he told us he will support to claim insurance, on 10th Nov’22 he told us insurance is not applicable for the damage and will support to cover 50% of the TV bill value … On 15th Nov’22 he claims nothing can done on our lose and Spock rudely “You can do anything, and we will not cover your lose” in local language… We predict the damage is only due to the transport shifting the vehicle due to their cost efficient … The Chennai Driver 9884445867 agreed that they had got 2 shipments to Bangalore based on their Owner guidance … Kindly support to cover our lose. have enclosed the supporting details. Worst" is the best word to use. Absolutely un professional. Bunch of guys who think they have packed well, if all things are put inside the box. But the reality is different. I used their service to shift from Bangalore to Chennai. After asking several times for adding insurance, the Owner Mr.Vijay was not happy to add any and promised and convinced me to not take any insurance. He even promised saying, if something breaks then its his responsibility to get the money through his company insurance. Everything went well from Packing, loading and getting things at Chennai. It was my mistake of not checking all the items as we had several boxes, TV and other expensive stuff in packing. I was tired so started to unpack the next day. I opened the TV package and found the TV screen completely broken. I was very disappointed so called Mr.Vijay who rejected all my claim saying, I did not check previous day so it was not their mistake. I asked him about the insurance but seems like it was all lies as he had none. No idea how a business is run this way. He asked his guys to talk to me and didn't want to talk to me directly. Those guys indirectly said, it was my mistake and I broke the TV. I was very upset as I had to spend 15k Rs adding mental stress. Taking the TV for repair, the technician said, the packing was bad as they had no thermocol to protect the TV and just bubble wrap. I opened another box to check a porcelain pillayar which had a crack. We had told them N number of times to pack it well and bring it carefully as it is 40 yrs old. Very upset with their behavior. I had paid more than 3000Rs for the guys who came as extra for the service but this was all cheating by this company. We are yet to open all the other boxes. Will update this thread after opening all boxes VERDICT: AVOID TAKING THEIR SERVICE AT ANY COST. THEY ARE A BIG CHEAT. ADDED PHOTOS FOR YOUR REFERENCE
